Draft pending legal review. This text may change before it is final.
This policy explains what the company that operates this service collects through Txting and how it is used.
Information about account users
Name, email, password (managed by our sign-in provider and never stored in readable form), role, notification settings, sign-in times, and the device push registrations you turn on. We use it to run your account, keep it secure and contact you about the service.
Customer Data (your contacts and messages)
Businesses using Txting store their own contacts (such as names, phone numbers, email, event dates) and messages. We process this data only on the business's behalf and instructions, to provide the service. If you are one of a business's contacts, that business decides how your information is used; contact them directly, or reply STOP to any text to stop receiving messages.
Service providers
- Hosting, database and file storage: Lovable Cloud (United States).
- Messaging: Twilio, under each business's own Twilio account.
- AI replies: Lovable AI, processing message text only to draft replies.
- Email (password resets, invites): Resend.
- Payments: Stripe. We don't store card numbers.
- Push notifications: Apple, Google and your browser's push service.
We don't sell personal information or use Customer Data for advertising.
Security
Each business's data is kept separate at the database level. Connections are encrypted in transit, and stored credentials such as Twilio tokens are encrypted at rest.
Retention
We keep Customer Data while the business's account is active. After an account closes, data is deleted within 60 days unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your choices
Account users can update their profile in the app. For access or deletion requests about account data, email the support address shown in the app. Requests about a business's contacts are passed to that business.
